HootSuite5

HootSuite5This week, HootSuite, a social media aggregator, released a new version–more powerful than ever! In a previous post, I detailed how I was connecting to Twitter, Facebook and more through Twitterfeed and Hellotxt. At the time, I had tried HootSuite, but it had fallen short of all I needed. This new update, however, has a LOT of new features that may enable me to simplify my social media process by entirely getting rid of Twitterfeed, GraffitiRSS for Facebook, Bit.ly, Google Analytics within WordPress and Hellotxt. If it works, that would be a dream come true!

Some of the new features include:

  • HTML5
  • The ability to add photos, titles and descriptions to your Facebook posts
  • Google Analytics in your dashboard
  • Drag and Drop support and more

So stay tuned–I’ll let you know how it goes. Do you use HootSuite to keep up with your followers? If not, what do you use?
